Library in use

GFIPTV uses MobileVLCKit 3.7.2 by VideoLAN for live and on-demand playback. It is licensed under the GNU LGPL v2.1 or later.

Written offer

For at least three years from the distribution of this version, and on request to info@aljamri.ae, we will provide — for no more than the cost of distribution — the complete corresponding source of the MobileVLCKit version above, its build instructions, and this application's object code together with the instructions needed to relink it against a modified MobileVLCKit.

How to replace the library and relink

1. Obtain the source from the link above, or download the official archive and verify its checksum.
2. Build your own MobileVLCKit.xcframework following VideoLAN's instructions.
3. Request the application object code at the address above under the written offer.
4. Replace the framework with your build and relink.
5. Re-sign the resulting build with your own Apple Developer certificate and install it on your device.

The last step is a requirement Apple places on every iOS executable, not an additional condition from us; the source, the object code and the instructions are all provided so that relinking itself is possible.
